Longsword, Saber, and Messer Tournament In Copenhagen
It is with great pleasure we'd like to welcome HEMA fencers from all over to Copenhagen for the very first Hafnia Open.
On Saturday the 11th of April we will host 4 tournaments, Open Longsword, Womens+ Longsword, Open Saber, and Open Messer.
On Sunday the 12th the hall will be open for free sparring.
Rules
Short Version:
-Safety First Wear appropriate protective gear in good condition.
- Scoring 1-2 point system. Clean hits count. * Note Messer is different
-Afterblows Must be immediate and snappy. Delayed afterblows don't count.
-No Right of Way Both fencers are responsible for their own defense.
-Messer Rules Emphasizes grappling and winding techniques.
-New Point Cap System We've introduced a point cap system!

The venue is Nørrebrohallen, Nørrebrogade 208, 2200 København in the heart of Copenhagen.
